I don’t receive many open comments on my stories. I guess not all readers wish to be visible. But…

  1. I do have “Private Notes” turned on, if you haven’t found that yet in the Comments section of any written piece.
  2. Also, if you are subscribed to receive my writings via email (a separate, different click from “Follow”), you can always respond to one of those emails, and I’ll receive your comments directly!

(The below was edited in Sept 2024.)

With only thirty-ish stories published here, I still have so many in the Vault! The ones in the Vault range from thoughts, to written outlines, to completed stories that I’m obsessing over first. Repeatedly.

Meanwhile, on the stories I have published, I get questions. From you, and sometimes even in-person from those very few who know this site is me, LOL.

So I’m going to enter that playroom of the mind, and share some answers! I do have Story Notes on most of my stories, but there’s always more to tell…

The Dream that really was A Dream:

It happened exactly as I explained it. I dreamt it, woke up abruptly, took notes on my iPad (the dream woke me up right before the alarm clock, anyway) and wrote it later that day.

I actually didn’t have to write this story. I transcribed it.

This next story I really want to delete, but won’t, because I don’t want to delete anything once it’s posted. The brain fart seemed cool at the time, but please don’t read it, okay? No, really, I’m not saying this so you’ll read it.

I feel like you and I have the kind of relationship where I can ask you, trust you, to never click on it, okay?

So why am I bringing it up at all? So you can recognize it, to not click on it!

These stories on this next list each usually took me the longest time, because I:
(choose one or more)

  1. Imagined them little by little and crafted them slowly, until the next step, the next sentence.
  2. Let them simmer for a long time, then revisited them until they were done.
  3. Rewrote them thousands of times.
  4. Let them sit finished, thinking they needed more, until I finally hit the Publish button, days, weeks, or months later.

Why? Because the stories on this list are from one of my mind’s favorite playgrounds. They’re a bit elaborate, and I wanted to get them right. :)

I don’t have a favorite story, but I do have ones that were more fun to write.

This one was fun because I wrote it so quickly. It wrote itself in the time it took me to type it, plus just a few more minutes of wordsmithing. After simmering overnight for a quick revisit the next day, it was done!

Oh wait, I do have a favorite series of stories!

It’s the 3-part story about the anonymous pitch black dark. This is Part 1:

I want to revisit this genre more, but I’ve got to be in the mood to write them:

My BDSM-ish Stories (Fiction)

5 stories

This story took an abrupt turn as I wrote it. The premise of the first paragraph was supposed to be the story. Watching each other.

But then I started crawling forward…

That’s it for this batch. Maybe I’ll do this again after thirty more!

Enjoy.

PS- I do this for the love of it. But… if you’d like, you can help offset my direct online writing expenses with a coffee (Ko-fi). And whether you can buy me a coffee or not, thank you for reading!

You can buy me a coffee at this link! Point your phone at this QR Code or click here!
